The Lord blessed with a wonderful missions conference in Allentown, PA this past week. In addition to being with Pastor & Mrs. Beaumont and the Harvest Baptist Church folks, we also enjoyed being with five other missionary families (including Justin’s dad & step-mom). It was a joy getting to know everyone there and share such special time of focusing on missions around the world. On Saturday we had the privilege of going out soul-winning with about 50 other people. Approximately 500 doors were knocked during that time. Justin and his soul-winning partner were able to see a couple receive Christ as their Savior and another young man in the church had the opportunity to lead his first soul to the Lord. It was a great day!
We are thrilled to report that our support level has now increased to 25% of the needed amount. Praise God! Our church secretary at Freedom informed us that two new churches have begun to send in financial support: one being the Cornerstone Baptist Church of Westville, OK and the other the Independent Baptist Church of Siloam Springs, AR. As we told these churches, it is very humbling to know that folks are willing to partner with us in this endeavor and invest their resources in this ministry that God has given us. May God bless you all in a great way. Thank you!
Prayer request:
As promised we do want to share with you specific requests for this week; although it seems redundant, please pray for our traveling safety. It seems like we will be adding more and more miles to our trips between meetings which just means we’ll be in our car for longer periods of time. For those of you with kids (young ones especially), you can imagine how much we are looking forward to this! *note the sarcasm. That being said if there is anything that we can pray with you about, please let us know. We would love the opportunity to return favor. God bless!
